A warm welcome to Gaskell Community Primary School

I am immensely proud to be Head Teacher at this wonderful, popular school situated in the centre of Bolton.

This school is a larger than average school, with children coming from rich, diverse backgrounds, where we celebrate everyone’s uniqueness and the gifts and talents they have. Visitors comment on the high standards of behaviour and the happy and caring ethos of our school. We want our children to flourish, to feel happy, safe and be provided with the highest quality education.

Our school motto is ‘Together We Shine’. As a school community, we work constantly hard to achieve this. Our bespoke curriculum is driven by our aim, ‘To develop each of our pupils to become successful citizens in today and tomorrow’s world.’ This is underpinned by our Gaskell Values of Happiness, Empathy, Aspirations, Resilience, Respect, Tolerance and Self-Confidence. We offer our children an education beyond the classroom, filled with experiences in the local community and beyond.
